The Beijing action plan for accelerating collaborative innovation in medicine and health (2018-2020) released in September this year clearly proposes to optimize and improve the service functions of Zhongguancun Life Science Park Phase I and phase II, start the construction of phase III planning, introduce the supporting elements such as third-party R & D and production service enterprises, professional intermediaries, social capital, and strive to build Zhongguancun Life Science Park into a comprehensive The professional park with global influence provides strong support for strengthening the original innovation in the field of medicine and health.

 

"Zhongguancun Life Science Park is the leader of basic research and innovation in the field of biomedicine in Beijing." Liu Hang, deputy inspector of Zhongguancun Management Committee, pointed out at the forum that at present, Zhongguancun Life Science Park has become a gathering area of life science research and development and industry, with high concentration of R & D and innovation resources, rich scientific research achievements, and initial scale of biological health industry.

 

Since its establishment in 2000, Zhongguancun Life Science Park has attracted more than 500 biomedical enterprises and medical institutions, and more than 150 experts and scholars, including Beijing Institute of life sciences, national chip Engineering Research Center, Beijing brain science and brain like research center, Beijing precision medical and Health Research Institute and other important research institutions.

 

Data shows that by the end of 2017, Zhongguancun Life Science Park enterprises have applied for 6699 intellectual property rights.
